Bows N Ties Review & Giveaway

   My husband is a tie snob.  I'm not being mean, just honest.  He lived in Europe for several years and developed a taste for European ties.  And not just any European ties, handcrafted European ties, to be exact.  He likes how thick and well constructed they are.  He always told me that American ties just can't compete with European ties, in quality and style.  In fact, after we first got married, he gave me a list of places I could order ties for him online, if I ever wanted to get him a tie.  Seriously??  Needless to say, he has not gotten many ties for Father's Day.

Here is my story

“I started with It Works in Sept of 2011 and I did this because I had won a couple of wraps and tried them and fell in the love with my results.   I did not have the money to buy anymore at $25 a piece so I decided that I could pre-sell the 8 wraps in the kit (at that time the kit was $199) for $25 a piece and have enough money to buy the kit and figure out a way from there to get more wraps.  I never thought it would take off the way it did.  I did have to put alot of work into the first couple of months but by the third month I was a Diamond.  I will never forget I found out on New Years Eve while we were at a concert that I had made Diamond and I was so excited.  I signed up my husband in January and made him my primary leg under me.  We are now both Double Diamonds and it is amazing.  We both are receiving the $10,000 bonus and I am going for a $25,000 bonus this month!!  My mom also signed up under my husband and just reached Diamond the end of Feb and is also receiving the $10,000 bonus.  

Since I have started with It Works we have paid off all of our credit cards and we had a massive amount of them as we were living way above our means and pay check to pay check, paid cash for two Christmas's, went to Vegas and paid for it all up front, bought a new 2013 Camero ZL1 and a 2013 GMC Denali 2500 HD, bought a boat, paid in cash for new siding and windows on our house ($17,000), and we have a savings account that I never thought we would have.  This is all because of It Works and the fabulous team I have.  I also have a fabulous upline that is there helping me whenever I need it.

Sun Shadz

   Sun Shadz is a brand new product from MoniMay Inc.  Sun Shadz was developed by Monica May Sanders.  Monica is an expert hair colorist, based in Arizona.  She has been recognized in Vogue, Seventeen, and Cut & Style.
  Sun Shadz is a mineral powder that was developed to protect scalps naturally from the rays of the sun.  It provides SPF 15 protection using natural products like rice powder, zinc oxide, silica and orange peel oil.  Sun Shadz can also act a dry shampoo, by absorbing the oil that weighs down hair between washes.  I loved the applicator for Sun Shadz.  It looks similar to a makeup brush and made applying the powder very easy!
   I was excited to try Sun Shadz for my son and daughter.  They like to play outside, and they both have very light hair.  When it was applied, the powder made their hair look dusty.  I tried using less, but to achieve a good level, of coverage the powder always made their hair look dusty.  I also tested this out with swimming, and the water washed out the powder.  So this wouldn't be the best product to use for swimming or any aquatic activities.  I think for only 15 SPF and the dusty look, I will continue to use a liquid sun screen applied to their hairline and hair parts for outside activities.

Jamberry Nails

   Ladies, think of the last time you did your nails or got your nails done.  You finally got the kiddos to bed, or got a moment to yourself and decided you needed a little pampering, right?  You do your nails (trying that cute pattern you saw online). They look great, but then after doing dishes, or laundry or just living life....two of them are chipped and one is completely lacking any polish.   Super frustrating right?  Ladies, those days are OVER!

   I'm so excited to introduce you to a very cool and exciting product.  It is called Jamberry Nail Wraps.

Jamberry Nail Wraps were created by a group of sisters that were sick of :

               -spending hours at the salon (and lots of $$$)

               -having to constantly touch up their nails

               -spending hours trying to create cute little patterns on their nails

    Unlike the sticker nails at the drugstores, Jamberry Nail Wraps are made of high-quality vinyl.  This means that they will stay on your nails, through all your daily activities.  No more smudging or cracked polish, and you know that they will stay on!

They are incredibly easy to apply all you have to do is:

Cutting away the excess wrap

1. Wash your hands with soap       
 to remove dirt and oils (I use dish soap).

2. Push back or clip your cuticles.

                                   
3. Place the wrap that fits your fingernail on your finger.

Filling

4. Use scissors to remove excess wrap (but save the extras, they are great for toes).


5. File down the end of the wrap until it is smooth.

6. Heat up your nail warmer (it is like a small bean bag), and use it to apply heat and pressure to the nail wrap (heat is what causes the wrap to bond to your nails).

7. File away any additional wrap.

     Jamberry nail wraps can last from 1-3 weeks on fingernails and from 3-6 weeks on toenails.  They come a large variety of cute patterns including sparkles and hombre.
     I've been wearing my nail wraps for several days, and I love them!  I've gotten so many compliments and several people have asked me how I was able to make that pattern on my nails!  I've worked out, done dishes, laundry, bathed (myself and my kiddos), cooked and vacuumed and my nails still look fantastic!
     Just as an additional note, I use the warmer, because I've had great results with it.  You can also any safe heat source such as a hair dryer or a mini heater to apply your Jamberry nails!
