I've been couponing for the past 5 years.  I've saved thousands of dollars in groceries and household items over the years.  One of the most valuable things you can do while couponing is to get organized!  You need to know where the sales are happening, where you can find coupons, and what coupons you have with you when you are out shopping.  It takes a little bit of time to figure out what kind of organization works for you.  I have a filing cabinet with each of my inserts, sorted by date.  I don't use a binder, like many people do, but I have a small coupon holder that I take with me to the store.  I found that the binder was bulky and I spent most of my time adding and throwing away coupons that I wasn't using.  But find what works for you.  If you love the binder, than use it.  If you find something else that works even better, use that!  If you are organized than it is easy to score an awesome deal and save your family some serious cash!
